Race Engineering Career

Riley Herbst came on board as a new addition to our program in 2021. With a solid first season under our belts together, we look forward to improving on the 2022 Xfinity season.

2019 brought a new opportunity to server as race engineer for long-time dirt racer Chase Briscoe in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Together in 2020 we accumulated a series high 9 wins in route to a championship battle.

I came to SHR in 2017 to help start the Xfinity Series program as a race engineer with Cole Custer. In 2018 we finished 2nd in the driver's championship and were able to secure the owner's championship.

I joined KBM in 2016 as a race engineer to work with now-phenom Christopher Bell. In his first ever season on asphalt we were able to clinch the victory at Gateway Motorsports Park and make it into the FInal 4 in contention for a championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

My first year as a NASCAR race engineer I landed at RCR on the Xfinity team with Brian Scott. While we never quite landed ourselves in victory lane, our team enjoyed great success over the season with an 8th place in the driver's points championship.
